As I drove in to work today I was listening to BBC News coverage of the war. Their top stories all centered around the anarchy and looting in Baghdad. Someone from the U.N. said that besides violating the Geneva Conventions, allowing this lawlessness sends the wrong signal about what freedom and democracy is all about. Now I’m reading the CNN site and there’s almost no mention of the looting problem at all. Fox News is just as bad, but MSNBC is a little better. Interesting how differently we see things over here.
