The New Wisdom

Preparing for joblessness

Not surprisingly, I haven’t done the things I said I’d do for the haiku site. Yesterday (the 28th) I spent the entire day working on my resume and a cover letter. At home Dad was doing stuff with a new hard drive so I had no internet access. Then at work today I did more resume work and did more programming for Catherine. After work I took a nap, watched Smallville, and played Zelda (I think I’m up to around 20 hours of play time now). Basically, there’s been no time for haiku programming.

Still no word from the FAA on what will happen to us. Ron Randel says the program will DEFINITELY not go on in its current form, however. I’m too worried about dying to stress out a lot about losing my job, though. More than a year and a half of my near-debilitating fear of death with no sign of letup. It’s not all bad. I appreciate life a lot more. But it’s still not healthy.
