The Duc Pond

I think our interviews went well today. They had managers from 5 groups within the AEGIS project there in a conference room and basically we went around talking to each of them. Didn’t get as much face time as we normally might, but since 6 of us were up there I suppose this made sense. I think pretty much everyone liked me except for the guys from the weapons group. And I don’t think they DISliked me, it’s just that I’m not what they’re really looking for. And I didn’t think I did well with the SPY guy, but Chris says that he said that he pointed to me and said that he liked me. SPY and the command and decision groups seem most interesting to work for. The office even bought a soda from the vending machine for me.

Decisions on all of us should be made by tomorrow. I’m confident that most, if not all of us who came up today will get something. I just hope that I’ll have at least 24 hours to respond to the offer(s), if any are made to me. I do not want to commit to anything before talking to Scott’s boss. That is very important to me. I will not burn him twice. And if I get no offers at all that’ll be OK. Losing this job seems to be a big deal to everyone but me. I’m not worried. I was actually looking forward to some serious time off.
