I’ve decided to go with CSC. I got nothing for my recent performance appraisal (either I should stop working hard or my appraisal isn’t as good as it seems; maybe everyone “exceeds expectations” unless they really suck), but I did get a good cost of living increase. So in the end, the security clearance won (along with what I’m hoping is decent software development work), despite what will be a horrible commute. I hope it opens as many doors as I’m expecting. And more importantly, I hope that overall I chose wisely. See, that evil guy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade did NOT choose wisely, and look at what happened to him!
