The New Wisdom

Goodbye EHT CSC

I’ve been coughing a lot today. My stomach hurts like hell from all the heavy and frequent coughing.

So a third job opportunity came my way yesterday (Thursday) for another group within CSC (DSP I think), this time at the English Creek office. It’s much closer, and the work did seem interesting, but I still decided to stick with AEGIS. I still feel that it’s the best job for my career. I just hope it makes the horrible commute worth it.

Today (Friday) was the last day of work. It was pretty sad to see everyone go their separate ways. Colleen and Christine had their kids in and they were cute. I played with Colleen’s baby Daniel. He refused to learn how to crawl (I was teaching him), but he’s still a cute little bugger. After turning in our badges lots of us went to Ventura’s for lunch where I found Steve Chappell and Shawn Hershman and Ed Little. Blasts from the past! It was nice, although I only really talked to the usual group of 4 guys (Brian, Joe, Paul, and me) and I was in pain from the coughing. Leaving was sad. We had a hell of a team and I appreciate all the great help they’ve given me. I can only hope the people on AEGIS will be as helpful and friendly.
