Uncles in town
Published by Duc July 15th, 2003 in Family2 uncles (from Canada and France) and a great uncle (from San Francisco) are here. Saturday we just chilled at home since they didn’t get here until the evening. On Sunday we visited the Statue of Liberty, drove around NYC for a while, and ate at the Wonton Garden. Driving in the city was obviously not fun, but my dad’s not big on trains and subways. Then Monday was a quick trip to Philly where we mostly drove around and then ate at a Vietnamese restaurant. Tomorrow Washington, DC is on the schedule. I think I’ll still go, but I’m not all that excited. It’s a hell of a drive.
Our main PC died again. I was up ’till 3 last night trying to fix it and this morning my dad tried to reinstall Windows. Luckily we have this backup hard drive, but now I can’t get the damn router to work. I hate this computer. It doesn’t go long without some catastrophic failure. I’m tired of this crap!
