Catherine’s Birthday
Published by Duc July 21st, 2003 in FriendsWith Tony’s invaluable help, I’m beginning to understand what the hell is going on at work. This has done a lot to improve my feelings about this new job. Hopefully tomorrow’s meeting with the Lockheed guy will go well!
Yesterday was Catherine’s birthday party. Cheung, Sean, Joe Petusky, Matt, Brian, Suzanne, Jon and I were all there. It was cool. There was chatting, playing some volleyball, swimming (or in my case, standing in water), and 2 hours of bowling. Humorous times were had with Cat’s friends. Stories about Sean being spit on, leaving Jed in the desert with Harry Potter and an arc welder, and more I can’t remember were all cool. I bowled 114 on my best game.
Today, which is ACTUALLY Catherine’s birthday, Jon and I took her to lunch. It was brief, but I didn’t have time for much more than that since there was work to be done.
And if you ever wondered about them, the Shanghai Wings at Chile’s are pretty good, but not offered everywhere.
