The Duc Pond

Just as I was starting to understand stuff at work and to enjoy my job somewhat, the need for my current assignment to be done by the end of next week has me stressing again. They sure don’t try very hard to get new people acquainted with the system before having them dive in. I don’t still don’t fully know what I’m doing, so I’m going to eventually look like an ass when I do stuff wrong. The apprehension I have for this impending moment really puts a damper on my life. I have to try my best not to care anymore. It’s hard to get fired here, so the only thing I need to worry about is not having stuff on my resume or a bad reference. I mean, I could finish on time, but this doesn’t look likely!
