The Duc Pond

So I went to see the SPY team play softball yesterday against WCS. It was misting when I left the office and during the game that turned into real rain. They weren’t optimal conditions for playing, but I still enjoyed watching the game. Catherine did very well, getting on base 3 out of the 3 times she was up to bat, something she didn’t fail to remind everyone of when we went to Jay’s later for drinks. The team still lost, thanks in part to the absence of their best players. We left defeated, and very wet.

Hanging out at Jay’s afterwards was cool. I puffed on a cigarette a few times (I didn’t inhale; no smoking for me) and had really hot wings. It’s a cool place.
