Today I got a great reminder for why I need a small digital camera on me at all times. While I was stuck at a light on Route 73 (turning left onto Church Road) a little bird landed right on the hood of my car! Now wouldn’t it have been cool if I could have taken a picture of the bird? I couldn’t, though, BECAUSE I HAD NO DIGITAL CAMERA.

This will be rectified soon, though. Earlier today (Tuesday, that is) I finally ordered my S400. $390 ($370 + $20 shipping). Not the best deal in the world, but still $34 cheaper than I would’ve gotten at Dell (see 09/21 post below) and $140 cheaper than I would have paid if I went to Circuity City or Best Buy where in addition to the higher prices I would have had to pay tax. I got it at ElectricSam.com. It’s got some good customer reviews, so I’m hoping it gets here fast. If they screw me over American Express will take care of me.

Anyway, I should have the camera in time for the slew of upcoming Halloween parties. As Hardy’s birthday party showed, it’s great to have a camera on hand. By the way, those pictures should be coming soon I hope.
