So it was election day. Very few people voted. I ran into Lisa Whittles (though I suppose that’s not her name anymore) at Roland Rogers Elementary School, where the voting was being held. She’s married and teaching and happy with both it seems.

Anyway, yeah, a low key election. I put a sign up outside my cube encouraging people to vote (i.e., I wrote “Don’t be a loser. Vote.”), but hardly anyone even knew there was an election going on. There were 3 referendums and every statewide legislative seat was open! That’s important! Non-voting un-American bastards.
