The Duc Pond

I just gave blood for the first time ever. I had forgotten about it until I came into work today and saw the Red Cross truck outside the building. It was mostly painless. They prick you once to test your blood and then of course they have to insert the needle to siphon it out of you. Took about 10 minutes. It’s cool to help save a life, but also cool/weird to see a bag of your blood just lying there. I wasn’t dizzy afterwards at all. I feel nothing. Kinda disappointing, but I suppose it’s good that I don’t feel bad.

Give blood! It’s good. And you get free juice and cookies.
