Saturday was the 2 year anniversary of this blog. Yay!

Today is the 2 year anniversary of my haiku database. Yay! Help me celebrate by writing some awesome new haiku (and rating more of the existing ones)!

I’ve thought about what to do to celebrate. I’ve been wanting to redesign the site to get away from this ultra-minimalist look, but I’m way too lazy and I suck at design. If anyone has suggestions in that area, please let me know.

The other thing I’ve thought about is splitting my blog into two: one primarily concerned with my personal life and the other a team-written political/social issues blog. Team-written because I don’t have nearly enough to write about to make consistent updates and a wider variety of opinions is needed. I discuss a lot of politics on message boards as it is. Surely some of us can clean up our thoughts and flesh them out into something worthy of showing to the world. Entries needn’t be long. In fact, some of them could just read “This sucks:” with a link to a neat story. Some commentary would be preferable of course. I have some URLs in mind that are available.
