Is this really an improvement? It’s certainly an improvement for me. The posting interface is so much more advanced than Blogger’s. Hell, everything is more advanced. I can manage comment spam much more easily, WordPress plugins add functionality that make working easier, and swapping themes to change the look of the site is a breeze.

It’s great to finally be able to tag posts. I’ve been doing it randomly, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get through all of the hundreds of “Uncategorized” posts.

Of course, the front page is admittedly a bit more cluttered, but the goal here was to provide the reader with more information (and yes, a little revenue too). Eventually I hope to allow users to customize what they see.

I still need to get the rest of the site homogeneous in appearance, but I’m in no hurry. My main concern was just getting my Blogger posts imported so I could start writing again.
